Description
This course covers Cinnamon as a medicinal plant. There are multiple parts that are used in traditional East-Asian medicine from the Cinnamon tree. This is a “roots up” look at medicinal qualities of the Cinnamon tree – its various parts and how they are used in traditional East-Asian medicine, other medicinal herbs that combine to make pairs and groups, and Cinnamon’s roles in commonly used, essential medicinal formulas.
Cinnamon Twig is a chief medicinal in the formula, Cinnamon Twig Decoction, which is a foundational formula with many associated formulas in the Cinnamon Twig Decoction formula family. Cinnamon is an essential medicinal central to many important formulas, and is one that should be studied initially, early in one’s herbology studies.
This course bridges information across a few focused areas of study in order link together information and make our understanding of Cinnamon and its uses in TEAM understood.
